BIO
Nicole Eigener is a queer indie author actively working in the gothic horror romance genre, devoted to vampires. Their work weaves themes of authentic representation and LGBTQ+ romance, creating rich, character-driven narratives that resonate with readers. As part of the writing-partner duo Nicoverley, alongside Beverley Lee, author of The Gabriel Davenport series and multiple other books, Nicole is co-author of A Conclave of Crimson: A Queer Vampire Romance Trilogy.
Eigener’s writing has been described by readers as having atmospheric prose, intricate plots, and deep emotional undertones, an invitation into worlds where passion, darkness, and complexity intertwine.
Their work is devoted to exploring multi-faceted relationships, especially under the LGBTQ+ spectrum, and showcases their commitment to diverse storytelling and representation in contemporary literature. With a deep appreciation for the aesthetics of the Gothic, French history, and how past experiences can weave inextricably into the future, their work not only tells stories — it also evokes a vivid sense of place and identity.
Which, in the current world climate, we need now more than ever.
